Job Description
The Service Desk Technician is responsible for handling first level support of service requests. This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.
IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems
Basic remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Resolve issues for clients via phone, email, remotely.
Track customer issues and resolution with our CRM system
Be able to work on multiple tickets at one time
Qualifications
Previous experience in IT
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong troubleshooting/analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
Ability work individually as well as part of a team
A passion for learning technology
Positive and professional demeanor
Certification / Experience
A+ Certification required
Windows 7, 10 Experience Required
MAC / Apple / Android experience is a plus t
Help Desk Experience
PC hardware repair on desktop and laptops
Windows 7, 10 installation, reloading, data migration
Basic routers, switches, wireless and security technologies
Basic Windows Server Administration for end user needs (AD, DNS, DHCP)
Basic Networking (TCP/IP, SSH, DCHP, )
